But in boxing, few duos have made as big an impact as Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua. Since first walking into Matchroom HQ as a sprightly 23-year-old, Joshua has forged a partnership with Hearn which has transformed British boxing over 11 years of triumphs, setbacks, and influence. In the very office Joshua inked his first deal with Matchroom, I sat down for an hour-long conversation with Hearn as he recounted their journey together, from the early conversations when AJ almost slipped through his fingers, the fine line between their personal and professional lives to the career revival which has put the heavyweight division on notice.

Tired stars are growing frustrated at football authorities for adding more games to an already jam-packed calendar as Tuesday sees the new 'Swiss model' come into force, where clubs will have to play at least eight league stage matches in European competition.
