Driving instructors are warning that a new roundabout undertaking in Hampshire has resulted in a 'confusing race monitor' that may cause chaos on the roads.

However dozens of instructors have referred to as it 'dangerous' as a result of the street indicators and markings 'make no sense' which means drivers are not sure which lane to be in.

But a complete of 24 driving instructors have now shared their considerations and criticisms concerning the undertaking.

Teacher Stephen Sillitoe stated: 'The& roundabout& markings and signage make no sense and a few turns usually are not doable.'

Carol Peters, added: 'I assumed it was wonderful because it was, now it's complicated as nobody is aware of what is the right lane.'

The council has announced that 'planned works' will happen subsequent Monday to move two visitors indicators in the hope of enhancing visibility of them.

A publish on the councils' web site outlined the necessity for a street closure next week, including: 'The brand new directional signal on the strategy to the& roundabout& shall be moved to a more suitable location prematurely of the& roundabout& to enhance visibility to the offside visitors signal head.'

A Hampshire County Council spokesperson stated: 'Brighton Hill& Roundabout& has been designed to satisfy present design standards, and this consists of signage and street markings.
