British headteacher dies in accident during trip to France | 45R0264 | 2024-02-15 11:08:01
A 'sensible' head instructor has died whereas on a visit to France.
Simon Gibbs, from Witham, died over the weekend whereas on holiday with associates.
It is believed he was killed following an accident on Saturday night.
New Rickstones Academy advised mother and father and carers of the top instructor's demise.
Johanna Thompson, regional schooling director for the Academies Enterprise Trust, described Mr Gibbs as a 'much-loved colleague and an excellent head instructor'.
'We'll miss him enormously,' Ms Thompson wrote.
'He shall be remembered for his integrity and keenness for educating, as well as his dedication to the group at New Rickstones.'
In a heartbreaking letter to oldsters, Ms Thompson stated: 'I'm very sorry to be writing with the tragic information Simon Gibbs, our principal, died over the weekend.

'From what we perceive there was an accident on Saturday evening whilst Simon was away for the weekend with some pals in France.
'That is clearly devastating news, and our instant ideas are with Simon's family at this unattainable time.'
She continued: 'Our employees have been informed at present and we needed to be sure to are aware so that you simply had the opportunity to talk to your youngster tonight.

Tributes for the late instructor have poured in, with mother and father calling him a 'implausible instructor'.
Tina Townsend wrote: 'He was such an awesome instructor who actually cared concerning the youngsters he taught and worked with.
'On behalf of myself and the group our deepest condolences to his family, buddies, colleagues and pupils. I do know he can be missed by many.'
