Brits looking for some warmer weather shall be pleased to know that elements of the UK will hit 18°C at the moment.
A 500 mile-wide steamy subtropical air plume from the Azores& means temperatures might be warmer than Corfu in Greece.
Whereas the south and midlands will take pleasure in these warm temperatures and sunny spells, the north will probably be wetter, with flood risks within the south west.
BBC weatherman Simon King stated: 'We might see 17°C in the south east on Thursday.
'Temperatures will probably be more like early Might than mid-February.
'Winds from the Azores are bringing hotter air, with temperatures peaking on Thursday.'
A Met Office forecaster stated: 'Temperatures are rising and it will really feel more like spring in locations, with highs nicely above the 8°C UK average presently of yr.
'There shall be shiny spells and it'll really feel very delicate. However there may also be further cloud and rain.'
But winter isn't over, as forecasters warned of March chills and snow.
The forecaster continued: 'Will probably be a light couple of weeks ahead across the UK, with signs of some drier weather subsequent week.
'However early March has an increased probability of colder than average circumstances, with the potential for snow on the boundary between milder and colder air.'
