A teenager was left seriously injured after plunging from a fairground ride in Mexico. The 13-year-old girl suffered a hip injury after being thrown from the spinning ride at the Cozumel Fair, held at Quintana Roo Park, south of Cancun. The young victim was hurled to the ground after it was alleged staff had failed to properly secure her safety bar. The terrifying incident was caught on video by an onlooker, who filmed the attraction operating with approximately a dozen thrillseekers in its carriages.
