The late actor has been hailed as a 'father figure of a generation' (Picture: Getty/Paramount)Peter Renaday, one of the original voice actors on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, has died aged 89. The show which aired from 1987 until 1996 starred Renaday as Master Splinter, a mutant rat who acts as a sage to the titular Turtles. The news of the late actor's death was shared on X by Townsend Coleman, who voiced the Turtle Michaelangelo on the comic book TV show.
