PETER CROUCH has revealed he once spent £300 on a cheese and ham sandwich.

Crouch defined that he and his mannequin wife Abbey Clancy have been on holiday in the luxurious area of Porto Cervo in Sardinia.
The couple splashed the money on a high-end meal at Lodge Cala di Volpe.
It's considered one of their "favourite places" – but one time issues did not go as planned.
Crouch stated on his podcast: "I purchased a cheese and ham sandwich that value me £300."
A gobsmacked Stark was left in hysterics, saying: "Sorry I can't cope with the quotes at present. What occurred there?"
Crouch explained: "The lunch there's off the size but you could go full board otherwise you get completely fleeced.
"It's about £300 a head for lunch so you better f***ing take pleasure in this lunch.
"We went and Abbey wasn't hungry, so I stated to the waiter 'she's simply going to have a cheese sandwich' and that's totally high-quality.

"I crammed my boots. I was having the whole lot but they nonetheless charged her the complete £300 – that's before drink, that's solely food.

"I've pretended to look via the menu and then gone for the most cost effective.
"The waiter is aware of precisely what I'm doing – however once more he has s***housed me.
"He came and it was a f***ing half bottle – I had to fake Abbey wasn't consuming.
"But I'd nonetheless return, that's how unbelievable it is."
