The agent of Enzo Fernandez has rubbished ideas the Argentine regrets signing such an extended deal at Chelsea and insists he is completely dedicated to the west London club.
Chelsea recorded heavy back-to-back defeats within the Premier League over the past week, delivery eight objectives towards Liverpool and Wolves, and now sit in 11th place within the desk – 15 points adrift of fourth place and the final Champions League berth.
That has led to options that a number of the club's new arrivals have privately expressed regret at moving to Stamford Bridge, notably on such long deals.
Fernandez, who joined Chelsea in a £107million deal from Benfica in January 2023, was handed a contract until 2031 so the club might amortise his transfer charge across the prolonged period of his deal and thus skirt round financial truthful play restrictions.
But his agent, Uriel Perez, has now hit out at the reviews relating to Fernandez's future at Chelsea and is completely adamant that he won't be leaving the membership any time quickly.
'The participant has no intention of leaving,' Perez informed Spanish newspaper AS.
'The Chelsea hierarchy have been very clear with this undertaking. It's a plan that was all the time going to be troublesome originally as a result of new and young players have been going to arrive.
'But when the items of the staff all fit collectively, Chelsea are going to maneuver ahead.
'Enzo's want is to be on the staff and win trophies. We've not met with any golf equipment or even tried to speak to any golf equipment, that's not true.
'We know what the player's want is. Clearly he would really like Chelsea to be in a better place [in the league] but that will probably be achieved with arduous work.'

The 23-year-old has had a considerably combined marketing campaign and struggled slightly to reside up to his £107m price tag, although he responded emphatically to the speculation surrounding him on Wednesday night time.
Fernandez delivered a superb show at Villa Park in Chelsea's FA Cup fourth-round replay towards Aston Villa, dominating the midfield and dictating the tempo of the contest.
