Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Dino Toppmoller has revealed that he apologised to Donny van de Beek after Manchester United's on-loan midfielder was disregarded of the German membership's Europa Conference League squad.
Van de Beek did not make at impression at United following his £40 million transfer from Ajax in 2020 and was allowed to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan in the January transfer window for the remainder of the season.

Toppmoller says he has been impressed by Van de Beek's response as he scored one and offered two assists in a behind-closed-doors friendly towards the Beneath-21s last Sunday.
