RAPPER G-Eazy said his "heart is broken" as he revealed to fans that his mom Suzanne has died. He shared a black-and-white photograph of his late mother and penned a touching tribute.

GettyThe rapper penned a touching tribute and called her his ...queen' and ...hero' '/ ' The 32-year-old wrote on Instagram on Wednesday: "I love you so much. The shock still won't let me accept the feeling that I'll never get to hug you in person again. "My queen, my hero, my everything… my mom. "The tears won't stop. My eyes hurt, my face hurts, my body hurts, everywhere hurts. "There's no safe place to hide and there's no way to lay, sit, or stand that doesn't hurt. The pain is enormous. But I know you're out of yours and that brings me peace." Suzanne's cause of death has not been revealed, but G-Eazy suggested that she had battled a long term illness. G-Eazy, born Gerald Earl Gillum, continued: "I love you so much. The power of your plight to survive and protect us against all odds will forever be awe-inspiring. "You were the definition of super-human… the context of which I gained gradually throughout my life. What you went through, the pain you endured, and the impossible adversity you faced will stay with me forever, deeply engrained in the fibers of my identity and being. In the emotional tribute, G-Eazy shared that he was always "worried" about his mom's health but never realized how much she was worried about him until she sent him the "hardest letter" he's ever read. "Going to treatment for alcohol and drugs was my decision but your letter was what ultimately persuaded me," he said. "They say the opposite of addiction is connection, and I'd never felt more connected to you than I have in the past months." The rapper continued: "Coming home to this wasn't easy, and nothing will ever be moving forward… but like you would always say, 'one step at a time and don't look at the summit'. "I love you so much. You loved your two boys more than life itself and we love you the same. "Luckily we have each other to hold and to lean on and that's all that matters. "Our hearts are broken, but they are full of love and gratitude for the life you gave us. With us always… we love you mom." In 2017, G-Eazy's mom, visual artist Suzanne Olmsted, opened up to The San Francisco Chronicle about their relationship. She told the outlet: ...I was not a soccer mom. Gerald was such a bundle of energy and had focus from such an early age; it was wonderful. ...As an artist, to be part of it — to recognize I had this intensely creative son — I felt an obligation to be supportive.... Suzanne added: ...I believe all children should be exposed to music. I found a very good piano teacher for him when he was in first grade. ...By the fifth grade, he wanted to learn composition. I prioritized things like that on a limited budget. ...As hip-hop and rap entered his world by the age of 11 or 12, I came up with a plan that I didn't limit what he could listen to. I told him, ...You can buy any CD you want, but at 9 o'clock we shift to classical music.'... Earlier this year, G-Eazy celebrated his mom's birthday with a sweet Instagram post, which included a throwback of Suzanne from when she was much younger and a couple more recent snaps of his mother hanging out in the kitchen. He wrote to her in the : "HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEEN! my gratitude is endless thank you for your love, hard work and sacrifice, I love you mama" More to follow...
