Chelsea outcast Ben Chilwell set to sign for Crystal Palace on loan after playing just 45 minutes under Enzo Maresca this season
Ben Chilwell is heading on loan to Crystal Palace after they offered him a way out of his Chelsea exile towards the end of the January window. The 28-year-old England left back will undergo a medical on deadline day before the deal is finalised. It is not yet known what portion of Chilwell's wages will be paid by his parent club as he heads to Selhurst Park until the end of the season.

A Manchester United icon has accused Ruben Amorim of handling Marcus Rashford's first-team exile disrespectfully after the forward joined Aston Villa on loan. Rashford completed his move until the end of the season yesterday and the deal includes an option for Villa to sign him permanently for a pre-agreed £40million fee. As reported by Mail Sport, Villa are understood to be covering 70 per cent of his hefty weekly wage, while the loan package also includes bonuses for progressing in Europe and for qualifying for the Champions League again next season.
