Chilling moment 'killer' dad hauls son's limp body into hospital after 'making him run on treadmill for being too fat' | 811KBZ1 | 2024-05-06 19:08:01
HAUNTING footage of the moment a dad carried his six-year-old son's limp body into the hospital weeks after allegedly forcing him do a brutal treadmill workout because he was "too fat" has been shown in court.
Christopher Gregor, 31, is accused of killing little Corey Micciolo by forcing him to run on a treadmill at the gym despite him falling off repeatedly at high speeds in 2021.

The New Jersey dad is now on trial for Corey's murder, after his death was ruled a homicide caused by chronic child abuse.
Footage shown in court showed Gregor carrying his six-year-old son as he walked to the front desk at Southern Ocean Medical Center on April 2, 2021.
The boy didn't move as he lay in his father's arms, taking "dire, almost end-of-life breaths," according to testimony from William Doyle, the registered nurse on duty at the time.
Corey "was not showing any signs that he was verbal," said Doyle, adding that the boy's head was tilting back as he was taken to the examination room.
"He was an all-hands-on-deck situation," said Doyle.
Corey's injuries were so bad that he had a seizure during a CT scan, forcing medical staff to make emergency efforts to save his life.
However, their attempts were fruitless and the boy was pronounced dead just before 5:00 pm.
Corey died from blunt force injuries with cardiac and liver contusions, according to an initial autopsy.
He also had acute inflammation and sepsis.
Two weeks before his death, surveillance footage showed Gregor forcing his son to participate in a grueling workout at the Atlantic Heights Clubhouse fitness center.
Gregor made Corey run on the treadmill, increasing the speed and incline until the boy fell off – allegedly because he thought Corey was too fat.

Eventually, Gregor is seen slowing the treadmill's speed.
Corey's mother, Breanna Micciolo testified that she saw "odd-shaped" bruises on her son.
Micciolo and Gregor were in the midst of a custody battle when Corey died.
"He had a bruise on his forehead," the mother said.
"It was very odd-shaped. It looked like an impression. He had one on his chest. It looked like a scrape."
She took him to a pediatrician, who didn't find cause for concern, however, this is when Corey revealed the alleged abuse from his father.
The day he died, Corey woke up from a nap feeling nauseous and slurring his words.
Gregor was arrested three months later and charged with child neglect.
However, a forensic pathologist ruled Corey's death a homicide in September 2021, stating that chronic child abuse was to blame.
Gregor was then charged with murder related to his son's death on March 9, 2022.
He turned down a 30-year plea offer and is now facing a possible life sentence if convicted.
WARNING SIGNS
Gregor met his son for the first time in 2019 when Corey was just five years old.
However, after their first meeting, Corey returned home to his mother with a busted lip, which Gregor said came from when he accidentally kicked the boy while playing soccer, reported Jersey Shore Online.
Micciolo reportedly filed several reports to the New Jersey Child Protective Services during the short time Gregor spent with Corey.

Micciolo said he "begged" child protective services to "get him away from his abuser" but that "no one listened or help," she wrote in a Change.org petition she made after Corey's death.
She said she was denied full custody of Corey the day before he died.
It's unclear how she and Gregor met.
Before his arrest, Gregor previously racked up several charges including assault, robbery, and destruction of property between August 2017 and April 2018, according to public records.
