A suspected oxygen tank leak at a sewage plant has sparked an emergency response – with hearth engines dashing to the scene.
Cops scrambled to a sewage plant in Plymouth at 9.35am this morning following studies of a leak.

They have been joined at the scene by at the least two hearth engines – with the street outdoors the plant closed in both directions.
A witness advised the Plymouth Herald: "Hearth engines and police. Can't see smoke. Two hearth engines from what I can see.
One other locals stated they saw a "mass gathering of fireside vans and police cars at the sewage plant".
A spokesperson stated: "Police have been referred to as at 9.35am at present to a property in Knowle Avenue, Plymouth following a report about considerations that a big tank was leaking oxygen.
"Officers assisted the hearth service and local street closures have been put in place while an assessment was carried out.
"Engineers attended to make the tank protected. The street closures have been lifted at round 12.15pm."
