A forensic probe has now revealed that the torso belonged to a man more likely to be older than 40.
The examination also discovered that the man had solely been deceased for a matter of days.
Cops in Salford at the moment are working to determine the man to allow them to inform and help his family members.
Chief Superintendent Tony Creely stated: "This can be a tragic case which is shifting at tempo.
"Because of forensic exams, we're capable of affirm that the sufferer is a person who could not have survived.
"On the heart of our investigation is this man and his household.
