As Mashable's Kristy Puchko points out, Babes, a forthcoming movie by Higher Issues' Pamela Adlon, is helmed by "a trio of badass comediennes." Adlon, who makes her function directorial debut, enlisted Survival of the Thickest's Michelle Buteau and Broad City's Ilana Glazer for her film about childhood greatest associates navigating maturity and motherhood.
The comedy, co-written by Glazer and Josh Rabinowitz, is the newest within the feminine friendship style, and appears poised to entertain. Daybreak (Buteau) and Eden (Glazer) have been with one another by way of all of it: career ups-and-downs, marriage, infants, the works. When Eden discovers that she's pregnant after a one-night-stand, their friendship turns into extra necessary than ever.
Babes opens in theaters Might 17.
