Pixar digs into the nitty gritty emotions of puberty in Inside Out 2, which introduces an entire new slate of feelings to Riley's (voiced by Kensington Tallman) mind.
The movie nonetheless reunites us with the emotions from the primary film: Pleasure (voiced by Amy Poehler), Unhappiness (voiced by Phyllis Smith), Anger (voiced by Lewis Black), Worry (voiced by Tony Hale), and Disgust (voiced by Liza Lapira) are excited to continue serving to Riley develop up. However wait, what's that on the horizon? Body modifications, teenage hormones, existential crises concerning the tiniest social interactions... Oh no — it is puberty!
As Riley enters this new life stage, she's going to expertise much more feelings. Enter Anxiety (voiced by Maya Hawke), Envy (voiced by Ayo Edebiri), Ennui (voiced by Advertèle Exarchopoulos), and Embarrassment (voiced by Paul Walter Hauser). These four newcomers conflict with Riley's unique feelings, even stuffing them in a jar. ("We're repressed emotions!" Worry screams in the film's new trailer.) Will our core five be capable of escape? And will they ever be capable of be a part of forces with Riley's new, extra difficult emotions?
