A toddler was killed after her dad by chance reversed over her in his automotive outdoors their household residence, an inquest has heard.

Haniyah Bint Vaqas Youni, was 19 months old when the incident occurred in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, on Might 21 last yr, Bradford Coroner's Courtroom heard.

She was enjoying within the garden then walked down a path, out of an unlocked gate, and onto the front drive.

Haniyah sat down in the rear blind spot of the BMW Three Collection automotive and was killed 10 minutes later.

Residents including two docs rushed to help resuscitate Haniyah after hearing a scream from her mum.

She was held in her mum's arms as blood gushed from her nose earlier than she was taken by paramedics to hospital.

CCTV footage offered to the courtroom by neighbours was described as 'extremely distressing'.

Haniyah couldn't be saved at the hospital as a result of docs found no signs of cardiac output despite making an attempt CPR and utilizing an incubation tube.

It was concluded that the automotive's sensors wouldn't have picked up Haniyah as a result of she was so small.

The sensors on his automotive had a fault due to a earlier minor crash.

Senior Coroner Martin Fleming stated: 'Haniyah was a stunning, vibrant, wholesome little woman. The good tragedy here is that there was nothing to alert the father to her presence.'

Haniyah's uncle, Shabir Younis, attended the hearing and was left in tears.

Mr Fleming asked him to move on his condolences to Haniyah's mother and father who were not in attendance at the hearing.

Haniyah's reason for demise was ruled as a traumatic head damage which the coroner stated was an accident.
