ENGLAND ace Raheem Sterling is to have a panic room at his new residence over fears of being hit once more by raiders.
The Chelsea star, 29, lodged plans for a fortified shelter within the Berkshire six-bedroom build, with a safety gatehouse and safe telephone strains.
It comes after a spate of break-ins at footballers' homes, together with Sterling's present £6million property in Surrey which was burgled while he was away on World Cup duty.
Involved Sterling, whose Chelsea aspect take on Liverpool in a mouth-watering Carabao Cup remaining on Sunday, now needs to beef up security at his new house to ensure his family is protected.
A source close to the star advised The Solar: "Raheem's household is every little thing to him and he can't ever have a state of affairs where their security is compromised, it's his absolute precedence to stop that from ever occurring.
"Taking control of the design of the area permits him to combine the security parts, he's capable of construct a protected haven to boost his family.
"The character of his job means he's away lots so he needs to be positive his household is protected at house."
Sterling was pressured to jet back from the World Cup in Qatar in December, 2022 after a house raid.
The break-in occurred shortly before his terrified fiancée Paige Milian, 27, arrived back at the house with their two children to seek out their residence had been ransacked.
Paige raised the alarm but the burglars made off with jewellery and watches.
