The lady doused in a corrosive chemical in an attack in Clapham last week is a faithful mum who simply needs a protected residence for her daughters, her shut buddies have stated.

There's a huge manhunt underway for suspect Abdul Ezedi, 35, who's accused of pouring an alkali over his ex-partner and attacking her two children, aged three and eight.

The mum might lose the sight in her right eye and continues to be sedated in hospital eight days on from the horrific assault – and the suspect continues to be on the run.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed for the first time yesterday that the victim had been in a relationship with Ezedi but it had broken down.
