Finn Harps boss Ollie Horgan hopes his players can come away from the last game of the season with some pride as they enter the game consigned to relegation. After last week's 3-1 defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers UCD, Horgan's men were officially relegated with one game to play. Meanwhile the Drogs have enjoyed a strong season and will compete in the Premier Division once again next season. Ollie Horgan told club media: "We're all very disappointed after last weekend. At the beginning of the season our goal was to take it to the last day and we unfortunately fell short. "Things haven't gone our way at times this year but we can have no complaints with how the table has ended up. We weren't good enough over the 36 games to stay in the division and full credit to UCD who have probably kicked on in the last few weeks where we did not. "Regardless of our place in the table we're still going to Drogheda with a job to do. They'll want to end their season on a high in front of their support. We're playing for pride but there is a lot of hurt in that dressing room and we're hoping to sign off the season with a win of our own." In team news David Webster misses out through injury, while Eric McWoods, Elie-Gael N'Zeyi and Rob Jones are doubts. A number of Twitter employees in Dublin have been told they are being made redundant by email this morning. It also temporarily closed its offices and prevented staff access, following a week of uncertainty about the company's future under new owner Elon Musk. Twitter said in an email to staff that it will alert employees by 9am Pacific time (4pm in Ireland) about staff cuts. Around 500 people are employed at Twitter's Dublin office. It is not known hoe many staff are due to be laid off as a result of the uncertainty at the social media giant. ...Woke up to the sad news that I'm no longer a Tweep,... said one former Irish employee in a post on Twitter. It is understood that those being laid off have been disconnected from the company's email and other internal systems. An employee who today lost their job at Twitter in Dublin noticed that their password had changed overnight. ...My timeline is full of folk who have lost their jobs. Twitter was a special place to work, and the people made it so,... they told RTÉ News.

Calls for changes to be made to meet the health care needs of the people of Donegal have been made by Councillor Gerry McMonagle. Speaking today, Cllr McMonagle said: "Much more can be done to improve health services in Donegal and the North West. We have a very committed workforce in health care but changes could be made to ensure that the health care needs of the people are better met. "We must try to put an end to the travel for services that should be provided in the North West. "The removal of services from Letterkenny University Hospital on the basis that the hospital does not have the critical mass is wrong. "The North West, comprising Donegal, Derry and Strabane, meets this critical mass requirement and when you consider the services we already provide to people in the North West on a cross border basis it makes sense to develop our future health care services on a cross-border basis. "This exemplifies how future healthcare planning that doesn't take into consideration the cross-border element will not be fit for purpose. "The services that are provided on a cross-border basis are working well together already and it is now time to expand these types of initiatives. We have shown that we are able to do this and that the desire is there for a fully functioning cross-border health service, something that will bring great benefit to the people of Donegal and the North West."

A coming-of-age play written and performed by Glenswilly actor, Patrick Quinn, is set to make its Northern Ireland debut with four performances at the Lyric Theatre Belfast, from Thursday 17th November until Sunday 20th November. The one-man show, which is set in the stockroom of a Donegal petrol station during the final weekend of the Donegal International Rally, looks at themes of claustrophobia, small town car culture belonging, loneliness, obsession, regret and male mental health. On the cusp of adulthood, its young protagonist, Eamon, feels like an outsider in his small community, exploring his frustrations and feelings of entrapment throughout, whilst excitedly contemplating his future. Written retrospectively, the play ultimately poses the question – can we ever forgive ourselves for the mistakes we make? Actor and playwright, Patrick trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and Queen's University Belfast. He is the recipient of this year's James Ellis Award, and has previously worked with BBC Three, Paines Plough, Lyric Theatre, Tinderbox and Pintsized. Patrick says, "It is an honour to introduce REVVED to a new audience for its NI debut at the Lyric, following an incredibly successful run in Donegal. The play explores what it means to be on the cusp of adulthood in modern Ireland, whilst looking at themes of belonging, truth and desire. REVVED Director Emily Foran "In essence, it is a play about regrets, the ride and cars, and in the end, it challenges us to ask ourselves whether we can, or even should, forgive ourselves for the mistake we make." As the play begins, we encounter Eamon as he tidies the stockroom in anticipation of his manager's arrival. Harbouring a lifelong love of cars, he relives his memories of last year's attendance at the rally, and how it changed his life forever. Director, Emily Foran, adds "I'm very much looking forward to directing REVVED during its NI debut at the Lyric. "The play tackles some incredibly important themes, like the feeling of being an outsider in a small rural community, and longing for something more. One of its most important messages is that, in order to embrace our future, we need to face our past. "Patrick has really captured the zeitgeist by creating an urgent and evocative piece that I would encourage everyone to experience."
